What You’ll Get Into

Outside of the musical lineup, we’ve curated an exciting cultural lineup that will include historical site visits, community service, and dancing, lots of dancing, amongst fun surprises! We’re sure you’ve heard about the jollof wars between Ghana and Nigeria and often times Senegal (the originators of jollof, shush you didn’t hear it from us!).

Well, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make this popular dish, so next time you can claim that your jollof is indeed the best! On our History of Nigeria day, you’ll have the option to visit the largest art gallery in West Africa or the National Museum. Lagos has a beautiful shore line and you will have the chance to drive a 4-wheeled ATV along her sands, after experiencing the uniqueness of shopping for souvenirs, cotton, silks, lace, and decorative pieces in an open-air market, all while bargaining on everything! #mygidi is for the adventurous explorer looking to enhance their Gidi Festival experience.

Lagos is the epicenter for the African music movement so you’re coming to the right place to sweat it all out on the dance floor. The city also breeds so much history and culture we’re sure you don’t want to miss during your stay in bustling Lasgidi! This unique experience allows you to create a community amongst your fellow travelers. Join our travel tribe…
